Where normal travel agencies have the obligation to make sure the general public enjoys their travel with pleasure. Initially, general travel agencies took shape to cater to mainly holiday needs and demands of the general public. This resulted in today's world, where there are various types of travel agencies which specialise and fulfil in the demands of specific sectors of travel. We have agencies that specialize in leisure travel, business travel and cargo travel. There are agencies in existance that specialize in airline reservations and they can be further sub-divided into domestic airline reservations and international airline reservations. Corporate travel agencies specialise in catering to the needs and demands of the corporate sector. These agencies are also known as Business Travel Agencies. A business travel agency or corporate travel agency serve corporate customers with one stop facilities and provide in all the travel needs of the business executive. The business travel agency specifically renders its service to companies where a large number of employees need to travel on a regular basis. Initially the corporate travel agencies just ensured that their clientele were getting a good deal on their tickets for travel. However, with the growth of the industry the requirements and needs of the corporate sector also increased. Now, the corporate or business travel agency can be further subdivided based on the type of industry they render their services to. They are also subdivided based on the type of service they provide to the industry they cater to. There are business travel agencies that specialize in rendering their services to IT/ITES sector and others that specialize in organizing travel for the Marketing sector where it is must for people to live out of their suitcases. There are corporate travel agencies that help with just the basics of travel like air ticket reservations and room reservations and then, there are other business travel agencies that focus on making business travel a cake walk for the working class. They take care of every aspect of the travel ranging from finding the best deals in airfares to making sure the availability of conference rooms for business meetings. They ensure that all nitty-gritty of business travel is taken care of. If you are a frequent globe-trotter or a business magnet who spends a single day travelling to various parts of the world to ensure the success of your enterprise or just an executive of a company looking for hassle free travel, then, the business travel agency or the corporate travel agency is the place for you to look out for assistance.
